Manchester United was an English football club that was from Manchester. They were a team that competed in the English The Football League between 1888 and 1907. During the time, they only made the top division 3 times with their last being in 1904-05 where they finished dead last in their only season.

They filled for Bankruptcy in 1906 and entered administration in the same year with the financial setback from being banned from selling alcohol at their games being one of the main sources of income. As the team struggled to get results on the pitch because of fellow Manchester teams in Manchester City and Stockport Country stealing their best players, the owners of the club decided to deform the club as they became the fifth club to dissolved while in the Football League.
