The 1962 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 58 teams compete for the remaining fourteen spots of the 1962 FIFA World Cup which was held in Mexico.

EFU[edit | edit source]

Main article: 1962 FIFA World Cup qualification (EFU)

30 teams competed in the EFU qualifying for 9.5 spots in the tournament. The teams were separated into five groups of six teams with the top team from each group and four of the five second place teams also qualifying. The fifth place team that finished second in their group would had to qualify through a playoff against the leading North American team.
