The 1962–63 ABA season was the tenth season of the American Basketball Association. The season ended with the Boston Celtics winning the ABA Championship, beating the Washington Brewers 4 games to 1 in the ABA Finals.

The Warriors move from Philadelphia to San Francisco. On January 23rd, the Pittsburgh Harlequins played their last match, the next week the team folded.
The 1963 ABA All-Star Game was played in St. Louis, with the National Conference beating American Conference 111–108.
ABC is the new broadcaster, signing 2-years contract.
