The 1960 EFU European Nations Cup was the second European Nations Cup, held every four years and endorsed by the EFU. The tournament will be held in Czechoslovakia after a bid between the four finalists saw Czechoslovakia win the bid.
25 nations attempted to qualify through to the finals with the format being held in a knockout-style format with the final four teams qualifying to the final tournament which was held in a particular location. The tournament would be won by Soviet Union who in extra time defeated hosts Czechoslovakia 2-1 in the final.

Final tournament[edit | edit source]
In all matches but the final, extra time and a coin toss were used to decide the winner if necessary. If the final remained level after extra time, a replay would be used to determine the winner.
