The 1958–59 ABA season was the sixth season of the American Basketball Association. The season ended with the Boston Celtics winning the ABA Championship, beating the Atlanta Sphas 4 games to 2 in the ABA Finals.

At the start of the season the Tigers relocate from Trenton to Chicago.
The 1959 ABA All-Star Game was played in Detroit, with the American Conference beating National Conference 125–123.
