The 1922 UCI Road World Championships took place in Liverpool, United Kingdom on 3 August 1922.

Great Britain had a clean sweep and also won the nations classification (total time of the first four riders per nation). It was the only nation of which all of the 4 riders finished the race. Sweden finished with three riders and France with two.
